In order to give you better answer there would be more detailed information needed than one you mentioned, like your moms’ income. It would not be a good idea to provide similar information on the web. However, you can contact your Area of Aging office and talk to services screener. People working in that capacity have a lot of information you would need and would be able to assist you with all these questions.

I am sure that she will need medicaid. Medicare only pays for 90 days after hospitalization,
I have heard. Call the social services department for help in her placement.

If to move your mother to a nursing home is the most feasible option for you to find a job, then she will probably need a Medicaid.
